Past Scholarships

The ASIST scholarship is available to adults facing economic, social, or physical challenges, who are looking to improve their situation through educational opportunities.

2020 Scholarship Winners

We awarded $5,000.00

  • Alondra Flores – $5000.00 – The University of Colorado, Denver, Studying Criminal Justice.

2019 Scholarship Winners

 We awarded a total of $12,500.00 in scholarships.  They went to the following recipients:

  • Arielle Rainey – $2,500.00 – Colorado School of Mines, Studying Environment Engineering
  • Nhu T. Nhuyen – $5,000.00 – Red Rocks Community College, Associate of Arts, Non-Profit Sector
  • Vivienne Tran – $2,500.00 – Community College of Denver, Majoring in Industrial Design
  • Merina Martin – $2,500.00 – Red Rocks Community College, Majoring in Biology.
2018 Scholarship Winners
A total of $10,000 in scholarship was awarded for 2018.
  • Sonja Davis plans to attend Front Range Community College to study for a degree in Health Information Technology.
  • Monica Edlauer plans to attend Front Range Community College to study for a degree I Nursing.
  • Danielle Keady plans to attend the Community College of Denver to study for a degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • Leah Porter plans to attend the University of Colorado of Denver to study for a degree in Business Management and Human Resources.

Sonja Davis was submitted to Corporate for one of their scholarship awards.

 

2017 Scholarship Winners
 In June 2017 the Committee awarded $15,000 to the following:

  • $5,000 Winner: Whitney Adams
  • $3,000 Winners: April Jones and Erika Bailon
  • $2,000 Winners: Suong Nguyen and Rita Erickson
